Brian retired from paid employment as a director in 2009. His career started in engineering and education and led on to manufacturing engineering and then operations management, specialising in business re-design in Japanese, US and UK companies. Before retirement was a member of the Cranfield University Management Association. In later life Brian became interested in relief and development opportunities in the majority world, visiting projects in Albania and Bangladesh. He now helps a number of Oxfordshire based charities and enjoys helping look after his grandchildren.

Alex is a Consultant Soil Scientist with over 30 years of applied soil science experience. Following an academic career at Cranfield University Alex worked as Principal Consultant for TGMS Ltd specialising in sports turf construction. Following this Alex worked in Uganda with his family, Jackie and two girls, Harriet and Bethany undertaking agricultural development work in Gulu, Northern Uganda. Since returning to the UK Alex is managing his own company, Soils. Managed Ltd, undertaking a range of soil related work.
Andy has recently retired after spending his career working in industry for a number of international companies based both in the UK and abroad. Trained as an accountant he spent the early part of his career living in various European locations. Laterally moved more into operational roles and eventually ended up as an Executive Director of a number of European subsidiaries for a middle east conglomerate. Andy was born and brought up in the Shetland Islands but has lived in Surrey for over 30 years.
David is a Chartered Accountant with a wide range of board level finance, risk management, regulatory compliance and corporate governance experience, gained primarily in the financial services industry. David joined Aviva in 2014 and currently performs a Chief Risk Officer role overseeing the Health, Protection and Corporate Pensions divisions. Prior to this, between 2010 and 2014, he operated as a self-employed consultant acting as the CRO for the Emerging Markets division of RSA covering business operations in Central & Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East and Latin America. He has also worked for Lloyds Banking Group Plc, Admiral Plc and KPMG during his career. David is married with three children and a dog called Millie.
Annet is a Ugandan lawyer, a graduate of Makerere University, Kampala with a Masters in Human Rights and Constitutional law from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Annet is passionate about access to justice with over twenty years’ experience in the NGO sector advancing social justice, gender equality, human rights, and good governance across East Africa. Most recently before moving to the UK she worked in Mozambique establishing a legal aid organisation. She now lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and two young children.
