A significant moment for global action

On 27 September 2015, the United Nations Sustainable Development summit concluded by passing 17 new global goals for sustainable development. Building upon the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which expired this year, the new goals will commit all countries to improving the lives of people everywhere.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will affect how governments, NGOs and the private sector tackle poverty in all its forms over the next 15 years.

Cyan International is committed to the transformation of the lives of poor and disadvantaged communities, from poverty to opportunity, inequality to justice and despair to hope. In his speech, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, “When we stand together there is no limit to what we can achieve.” This is truly a significant moment and an exciting time for global action!
